Gyo is yet to release my video or money for “Kabila” – Irene Logan
Ghanaian soloist, Irene Logan has said in an interview on Starr 103.5 FM monitored by Lisa Baakope that music video director, Gyo still owes her music video and money for the song “Kabila”.
Irene Logan was speaking to Jon Germain on why she is takes a long time for releasing songs as an artiste.
“I have very low moments in life, I saved up to 5,000 cedis to shoot a video for my biggest hit song, Kabila. Gyo of famous films was big and I hence wanted a classic video” she said.
According to Irene, everything from rentals to makeup and venue was all her charge. Yet after the video shoot, Gyo said his machine has crushed.
“I called him and he said he was trying to retrieve it, it was calling and calling back and forth. Eventually I asked for refund but it never happened and here I am” She continued.
Irene Logan added that management and record label with the media are the reason for sabotage in Ghana stating herself and Jane (Now Efya) Kaakie and Mzvee, Wendy Shay and Fantana
She concluded that there has been sabotage in the music ministry, which is very bad. She encouraged young artiste to not fight against eachother.
