‘FAMILY LIFE & HOME AFFAIRS’- THE NGO OF THE CENTURY
Usually we get to see that Non- Governmental Organizations (NGO) are been set up by ordinary citizens of a country. Here is the only NGO and the one of this century set up by extraordinary persons- FAMILY LIFE& HOME AFFAIRS.
The Family Life & Home Affairs is a non- governmental organization which provides an innovative and dynamic framework for the active participation of individuals in relationship management knowledge, connecting developing countries, think-tanks, regional and international organizations, Financial Institutions, and civil society organizations with relevant seminars and charity events. It comprises of Love summits, Health walks, Blood donations exercises, Peace walks and Inter religious games and charitable donations to the less privileged in society.
Family life and home affairs aims to achieve the following by educating individuals on;
+ Choosing a life partner
+ Marriage/ relationship
+ Maintaining a healthy family life and/or other relationship as a couple.
+ Effective communication among couples
+ Conflict management
+ Creating Mutual Financial Plans in marriage.
Now Love is a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection to pleasure. It can refer to an emotion of a strong attraction and personal attachment which is very important in the lives of human.
Where there is love there is peace and harmony, this is the reason why Family Life and Home Affairs has set an upcoming event dubbed “Love Summit 2016” with the theme: “REPOSITION YOUR LOVE”- Promoting Peace in an Election year.
Come 30th January all roads leads to the Accra International Conference Centre. Activities includes special awards will be given to marriage couples who has been in marriage for 30 years and above, launching of peace campaign 2016, relationship talks by Rev. Frank Abedi Boateng, Rev. Mrs Bernice Boadi Darkwa and other speakers, entertainment by various artiste.
